What is cross-stitch?

Cross-stitch is a form of counted embroidery that involves creating patterns of small "x" stitches on an even-weave fabric, following a design sometimes called a chart.

Is cross-stitch easy?

Yes! You can start with small patterns to get familiar with the technique, and then move on to larger projects. Cross-stitch is easy to learn and master, even if you don't know how to sew or embroider!

Can I embroider the designs onto a T-shirt?

Yes! You can certainly embroider the designs on a T-shirt, cushion, bag, or any other fabric. For example, you can use a water-soluble canvas. You can also use a waste canvas, on which you first embroider the design, and then remove it by pulling out the threads.
